What kind of sick freak?

I heard about this on the radio this morning, and it just breaks my heart that a parent would do this to their own child. CNN news story
I wish parents would take care of their kids and let them be kids and not do stuff like this. My two sons are the world to me and I would hate for anything like this to ever happen to them. I shouldn't say hate, I should say I would never ALLOW or let them be put into any kind of situation like this. That mom is a sick freak and she should rot in prison for this sick behavior.
