Different Stuff at Work

At my job I only work 4 days a week so I am off every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Well for the longest time we had been getting paid a base pay along with so much per application we take, depending on how many calls we convert to apps. Well I came in Sunday and there was an announcement when I was off about a new Comp plan coming into affect on Sunday. It was different because it had the base rate still as well as well as long as you convert 50% of your calls you get to apps, you get $3.00 for app. Thinking about this I will be taking a base cut because I always, except for one week that I can think of, performned at the highest conversion and always got $5.00 per app that I took. Well thinking about it I will have to take more apps than what I did, but it feels like a weight was lifted at work because it takes the stress all off of the conversion rates. So to me while some people are griping about the pay, I am relieved because it means I will always know what I am making and one bad call will not make me lose alot of money like has happened in the past.
