Long week with Hal

This week at school must have been one of our most trying weeks. We got not one but two phone calls from the principal this week. The first time my mother in law went and picked him up since I was at work and the second time I called and finally told the principal to give him swats. And I know some people will say that it is wrong to do that but we were at a loss for what to do with him. We have tried talking to him, time outs you name it this was the last thing to do. And I actually think it may have helped. After that visit to the office he went back to class and actually got a smiley face for the rest of they day and then the next day Friday he didn't get in trouble and he minded his teacher. So hopefully that set him straight on behaving at school.

I still don't get it though because at home he doesn't get away with anything and when Jason or I reprimand him by talking to him or putting him in time out usually always works. So I guess school was just a whole different thing for him and he was trying to push his teachers limits or something, I am just not sure, it will just be nice not go get a call from the Principal again.
