Event Planners
One career choice that I always thought would be a blast to explore is being an event planner. However where I live I just do not believe there is that big of a market here for it in East Texas. However in San Francisco, California I am sure the market for it is surreal and a blast. Innovative Entertainment's event planners are the California event planning experts they offer planning for trade shows, entertainment production, coporate events, and even those special events that needs to be planned. In their area they are the premier event planning firm they have also planned events for many big name companies.

As a person who has worked as an event planner, and with many friends in the business, you are right to think it's an interesting job. However, it can also be frustrating and infuriating, depending on the client you are working with. But there is a lot of room for creativity, too, which is probably what you are most attracted to. Why not move to NYC? There are plenty of events to work, and companies to work for. (heh, heh) But sometimes small companies use their marketing departments to do their events, and that's where you might be able to find work where you are. Once you get established someplace, they will hire you all the time. I myself do a lot of writing for corporate events, and I really enjoy the challenges that come with that.
