Long, long night

Last night my younger son woke up with stomach pains and cramping, it is not normal at all for him. So after a couple of hours of not being able to console him and make the pain go away at about 1:00 a.m. I took him in to the emergency room. Well we waited 3 hours to find out that he had probaby eaten too much over that last week and thankfully they said that it was perfectally normal for someone his size to have this problems this time of year so we got hom around 5:30 and his brother left this morning to go to church with their grandparents he, my husband and myself slept until about 2 today, and it was nice to sleep the day away, and he is doing really good today and back to his normal self.

Can I make it until 5 a.m.?

The company that I am working for offered some excellent rates tonight until 5 a.m. so I decided to sign up for a shift for extra cash. Luckily right now I feel awake because I just fell asleep putting my 4 year old to sleep and feeling kind of energized like from a power nap. So as far as right now I have a bowl of nachos and a diet Dr. pepper and a scrapbooking project on the table next to me calling my name in between calls. I think I am just going to have to stay busy and I can make it through the night. Wish me luck and look for more semi-exhausted posts.

Earthfrisk.org

When I am searching for something online I get tired of spam showing up in all of my results, it makes it hard to find what is really being looked for in a search. Last night I was looking for information on maintenance for a system here at my house I swear there were so many links that I clicked on that didn't have any information at all just ads that really didn't have anything to do with what I needed. In a Search Engine it is useful to have all different kinds of tools to utilize, for example with Earthfrisk.org they have a new CV or color rating system that is more democratic than other systems out there that have been a huge problem here lately for some bloggers and websites alike. The coolest feature that I have heard of for a blogger such as my self is a customizable toolbar that a blogger can put their own logo on and use for promting their blog, really cool stuff.

Christmas 2007

We were so busy yesterday, but we had an awesome day. The kids were very pleased with their gifts that they got and are still opening some of the toy packages that didn't all get opened yesterday. My inlaws even surprised me with a new scrapbooking table to go by my computer desk since I didn't have one anymore and all of my stuff had been put away and not in use for nearly the last two years. So I am loving that and organizing all of my stuff around it. So there will be some scrapbook pages in the future of my blog here.

Hal is loving having his own Nintendo DS and Wes is loving his new Zelda game that we got him on it. So they are a little too occupied with those right now and are loving their new Star Wars playsets we got them as well.

Christmas Eve is here

And now I am excited about it all finally. My little boys have been asking for days when they are going to get to open their presents and now we can tell them tommorow. And they are also going to get to open one gift on Christmas Eve like we let them every year. And most of all I am excited because I do have 3 days in a row off, I had originally intended to take 2 days off and work half a day today but it was so slow Sunday I decided to take off today as well. So I am excited about that.

2 items left on the Christmas List

My husband and I were talking last night and we decided that there were just two items left that we wanted to get the boys for Christmas. I had actually thought we were through that we had gotten everything, but my husband came home and said something to me and I realized that we had two more things to get. Thats fine though, our boys are going to enjoy Christmas morning and that makes us happy. I have to admit myself that they are going to be getting some pretty awesome stuff that we know that they are going to love.

New Years Resolutions?

Its almost that time again, and I have decided that I want to think of a good one and stick to it next year. I am thinking mine will either be more about taking care of myself for once instead of running myself ragged like I have been doing more recently. Definitely involved with this will be losing a little weight because since I have been working back at the call center the last year I have ate out a lot more than I should have and well basically I sit all day so there isn't a whole lot of physical acivity involved with my job. But it is bothering me so I am going to do something about it. So that it my resolution for this New Year. Let's just see if I stick ot it.

Name Your Loan

Applying for and getting a mortgage is a drawn out tedious task, I know it took months and months to get everything taken care when we were obtaining a mortgage to have our house built. How NameYourLoan.com Works is by taking the hassle out of the mortgage borrowing process by having an online auction with a buyer posting their terms and lenders competing for their business. And everything takes place online so it makes it easier than traditional lending. It is pretty easy and I just wish it would been as easy when we bought our house as NameYourLoan.com sounds.

NameYourLoan.com Diversifies Current Lending Environment for Borrowers with New Approach to Online Mortgage Loans.

New online mortgage auction site, NameYourLoan.com, has revolutionized the way borrowers obtain mortgage loans online. As a unique and creative online community, borrowers can easily connect with the best mortgage lenders while lenders benefit from a wealth of real time mortgage leads and opportunities for business growth.
(PRWEB) – In today’s tough lending environment, littered with deceitful lenders and cunning tactics, it’s high time for a revolutionary tool that can empower borrowers yet still benefit lenders. NameYourLoan.com has answered the need with the launch of a new online mortgage auction site designed to give consumers access to an increasing mortgage lenders network to ultimately obtain great online mortgage loans.
“For centuries, auctions have been the most efficient and effective way to get the best deals in everything,” says Al Salahi, President and CEO of NameYourLoan.com. “Why not have auctions for all mortgage loan types?”
NameYourLoan.com is an online community where borrowers can easily connect with the best mortgage lenders. Lenders compete with one another in an online auction to win the borrower’s business. As numerous lenders submit loan offers, the site enables consumers to see “apples to apples”, compare mortgage interest rates and achieve the lowest rate mortgage online such as the best home equity loan rate or home refinance loan.
The site’s sophisticated computer system compiles and calculates all the information submitted by lenders (interest rates, points, fees, terms, etc.) and then ranks loan offers, based on their true worth relative to the borrower’s stated preferences (lowest rate, lowest fees or best combination of rates and fees). This simplified process gives borrowers a coherent presentation of information without having to do the math themselves.
Unlike other online mortgage comparison shopping services, only those lenders who come out at the top of the auction with the lowest interest rates and fees get a chance at the borrower’s business. Moreover, borrowers can invite their friend or relative lender to participate in the borrower’s auction quickly and without cost. Lenders who refuse to participate are most likely high priced and not the best mortgage lenders.
“Through advanced technology, we are starting to make haggling and deceptive lending tactics a thing of the past,” explains Salahi. “At the same time, we are transforming a generally stressful and complicated process into a very pleasant and easy experience for borrowers. Our multiple bid auction format, coupled with constant consumer feedback, will make it easy for us to weed out dishonest lenders—and hopefully put them out of business!”
Use of NameYourLoan.com is completely free for borrowers. Borrowers are under no obligation to accept any of the online mortgage loans offered in the auction. To protect against identity theft and fraud, site users are never asked for sensitive information, and lenders that receive multiple consumer complaints will be barred from future auctions.
For more information, visit NameYourLoan.com.
About NameYourLoan.com:
NameYourLoan.com is the world’s first online mortgage auction, designed to advance the lending process by helping honest and competitive lenders grow their business, and at the same time, make it possible for borrowers to instantaneously reach multiple lenders and receive competitive loan offers online, in an auction format. NameYourLoan.com uses a patent-pending concept powered by sophisticated proprietary software that has been developed by a number of technology heavyweights from the Fortune 500 arena.

What do I want for Christmas?

I know that it is the last minute but I can not think of a single thing to tell my husband that I want. He has been asking me everyday what he should get me but I keep telling him that I will think of something and tell him later. I could think of a lot of different things, but I don't know what to tell him. I am almost afraid of settling on something that I may not necessarily want. I will probably just tell him a game or something that I want or maybe the Gilmore Girls Complete Series box, which I really want. Because I could watch it over and over again.

Online Flyers

Advertising online is a great and sometimes necessary way to promote your website or business. It is almost a business expense that can not be avoided. Classified Flyer Ads offers Online Ad Creation and Syndication which can be submitted to the top web directories and search engines, to gain your product or service the maximum exposure. They also offer several different Ad Posting Plans which can also be emailed to customers or contacts whenever a site may have a promotion going on.

Look I'm just the order taker

I have been so close to saying that to quiet a few different people today. I have spent about 20 hours in the last two days at my computer working and taking calls for my work at home job. And sometimes I just want to scream at them, because I deal with 100s of different products daily I may not even see the same product twice in a day. So I don't know why you have to join a club, why the shipping costs so much, why there are so many other products they are trying to push on you? I just think that I needed to get that out.

I don't mind the job at all, it is just people who are calling in sometimes want a little more information that what they provide for me to give them. But its ok because sometimes you get the nicest people who call in who know what they want and just let you do your job and tell you to have a nice day and everything, they definitely make the next call bearable. Hooray for all of the nice people in the world.

Online Greeting Cards

Tonight I just sent my husband the funniest card online, of something that we joke about quiet often. Which is personal and I can't spill here though, he would be embarassed. But it was just a fun thing to do and best of all it was free. Sometimes it is hard to find FREE online greeting cards that you really like and this one that I found just made me laugh so much that I had to send it. Kisseo.com offers all kinds of neat original e-cards and online greeting cards from a wide range of different categories they have over 1000 differen designs to choose from so picking that one might take some work, and whats just as cool is that they can also be sent in other languages.

I am about to go cross-eyed

I have sat here in at my computer and worked about 10 or so hours today and about 9 yesterday. And I am about to go nuts. And still have until 2 o'clock in the morning to go, now the question is am I going to make it? We shall see. The highlight of it all though it that I have gotten a lot of stuff done on a little project that I have going on. At this point I am quite proud of it and have a few more luckily simple things to do and I will be unavailing it. Which I can't wait to do.

I guess this is my non-off day

I am off today from my normal job but I am doing my at home job for some extra Christmas money. I am really enjoying it though because I have until Sunday to get extra time in order to get paid one last time before Christmas. And I am mostly thankful that the people that are calling this morning are not prank callers or perverts who say crazy stuff to you on the phone. Well those happen mostly at night anyway. I just can't wait for a few months from now when I will be able to quit my out of the home job and work full time at home and go to school. I know, I know I have talked about it a lot lately, so I really want it to happen.

On other news though I did get my sons G/T paper work done last night and turned in this morning so I can't wait to see how that goes next month when they test him for it.

Just run away from it all?

Recently a British man thought to be dead in a canoe accident appeared alive. Apparently he faked his death to collect life insurance and to unburden bills that had been piling up. I believe the article said that it had been going on for 5 or so years, and that even his own children had no idea that he was still alive. You know I have thought of taking my family and moving off and getting away for a change in life but I never thought about faking my own death. It is stupid and would just hurt the people around you who do not know what is going like in the above case and the couples children, I would almost think that I would keep on living as if he were dead after that kind of deception. I may not be a fan of death faking but sure I can fantasize about running away and starting over.

Don't knock someone else's choice that isn't your own

I was reading an article today about Jessica Alba announcing that she was pregnant, well I say congratulations and I am sure she will be a great mother to her baby. But what annoys me to no end is the people who are making comments on the comment section saying how wrong she and her boyfriend is to be having a baby when they are not married. I hate to inform them but being married doesn't make you a better parent then an unmarried person. My husband and I were not married when had either one of our children, I believe that all that matters is the child be raised in a loving nurturing home and it doesn't necessarily have to be by a married couple. Look at Britney and K-Fed they were married when they had their kids and look how that turned out.

The moral of my rant here is there in the title, no one is perfect and so if someone doesn't do everything they way someone else thinks it should be done, then they should look at their own lives I am sure they will find something that they aren't "right" on as well.

This is harder than I thought

My sons first grade teacher nominated him for the Gifted and Talented Program at his school. Well that is great and all because he is a very brilliant kid and I think it will be really good for him. Well they sent home the paper work for me to fill out but I am so lost as to what to put. They ask all of these questions, very good questions about my son and what he is like, but I am so lost as to what an appropriate or good example(that is what they are asking for) might be. The papers are due to the school counselor by Friday so I will get something good on the papers that I think will let them know who he is.

Wish me luck,

I feel bad but it is his fault

Nearly a week ago when we had let Porthos out to use the bathroom he almost got ran over by a car, he just got away with literally a scratch on his hind foot. Well since then I have bought a chain for the backyard to put him on to use the bathroom so we don't have to worry about him chasing cars anymore and getting hit. Well I put him out today because we were trying to clean up and he kept getting in the middle of everything just being a nosy puppy. Well about 15 minutes after I put him it just starts pouring down rain, I feel bad because I wasn't for sure it was raining because the a/c unit is right next to my computer room and my husband had it on today. But all of a sudden he starts yelping with sounds that sounded like a crying cat. The poor guy just really wanted our attention to get back in. I think we are going to have to get him a little dog house for events like this. But all is good now he is in the house nice and dry and he has been cuddling in blankets to make up for it.

Smorty

Advertising on blogs is a smart decision for business as well as good for the bloggers pocketbook. It is my opinion that readers would rather value the opinion of or a review by a blogger than that of an ad that they come across on a pop-up or a corporate website. So Smorty has stepped in to help bring these bloggers and advertisers together with their service so that bloggers and advertisers can come together. When companies advertise on blogs they can reach a more targeted audience for their products or services. I like the Smorty service because of the extra income that it allows me to bring when I get paid for blogging, as well as the fact it helps expand my horizon about different products and services that I may not have heard about that will actually be useful in my life and my families lives, as well as those peoples that visit my blog.

Christmas Lights

We spent several hours Saturday afternoon and evening putting up Christmas lights and decorating. We ended up putting multi color icicle lights all across the front of the house, which are my favorite. We also put regular stands of lights around the door, front windows and around the back of the bench on the porch. I think I will be going another day this week and getting light up candy canes to go around the walk way and the front of the porch. I know there is a lot of color but we just love to do the multicolor lights, to me they are just more fun.

Here is a picture of the front of the house, I am having a hard time getting a good one so this one is kind of blurry looking.

Massage Chairs

Some days even though I sit at a computer all day my back gets really stiff and I do not believe there is anything better than a massage. And because of the extreme, to me anyway, amount of hours that I have been putting in between working out of the home and working at home I am thinking that a Human Touch HT 7450 Zero Gravity Massage Chair would be absolutely perfect. I could even sell my husband on it because he often says that his back hurts from working and moving around at his job. Wow this chair is so complex it even uses four techniques that are used by massage professionals such as Percussion, Rolling, Compression, and Kneading with its Quad Roller System. It has so many different features that help simulate different things such as heat, speed, intensity all to the preference of the user. Just drooling over it makes me feel like my back needs a good massage.

Evening in Old Bethlehem

This is an annual even hosted in our town by a local Church, I am going to be going for the first time this year. My inlaws are going to take the kids and myself since they have been going every year since my husband was a kid. Well except since we had our kids because our lives haven't been slow enough for something like this. But my kids are really excited about going to and seeing what an Evening in Old Bethlehem was like. The event will have a lot of different costumes and stuff going on.

Playing dress up

Considering what we do for a living and how we never have anything to really "dress up" for we have decided to go out to the nicest restaurant in town. We are going to all go out dressed up for Christmas nice dresses and everything and ties and shirts for our husbands. We think it will be a lot of fun and let us have a chance to do something that we normally don't get to do. We are also going to kick it off with going out and getting manicures or pedicures whichever is decided to get tomorrow after work. So for now I am looking for a dress online.

Finally, She is gone!

I haven't even had a chance to sit down and watch it but I read that Bianca was sent home on America's Next Top Model. I am sure she had some fans out there but the way she treated some of the other girls especially Heather was just wrong and uncalled for. I actually can't wait to watch it and see her face when she gets voted off. Now since the ones that I liked are gone I am rooting for Chantal or Jenah to win because I really hate Saliesha's hair she looks like Tootie from the Facts of Life from the 80s she does not look like a model at all. So we shall see who is crowned America's Next Top Model next week.

I think my eyes are going to pop out

Seriously, I have no idea when I sleep or if I really ever do. All I have really been doing lately is working and working. I just hope that it in the end it pays off and everything that needs to be done is done, it will be a huge relief for me to have everything done and not have to stress about any of it at all. But after Christmas I think there will be a chance to slow down and smell the roses, and I can sleep and sleep and sleep. But until then it is busy time. And ever once and a while I will sit and watch a movie with my husband and have fun.

Weightloss Surgery

I have known several different people who have had lap band surgery and have always been impressed with the results that they have had. JourneyLite is a network all over the nation of lap band surgical offices that specialize in Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding they even have an office in my area for weight loss Woodlands. This procedure can be used to save peoples lives and make their quality of lives better as their weight improves since it makes a smaller pouch in the stomach to reduce the amount of food one eats.

Took the day off of work today

This morning I just couldn't get going to get to work, there were just too many obstacles in my way, which is a gripe post on its own. And it was odd because the morning didn't start off bad I was up and ready by seven and even had my make-up on this morning but so many things just stood in the way that I just said the hell with it I am staying at home. So I went back to bed and Jason and I woke up late and rented a few movies. We got "Superbad", "The Nannie Diaries", which I just finished watching and I thought it was okay, and we also rented "Pirates of the Caribbean, At World's End". And after the kids get home from school Jason and I are taking them out to eat at UFO Pizza and then we will watch Pirates because they both really want to watch it.
