I have been having a very stressful time lately trying to get some stuff straightened out.  Well my mother in law decided that I needed some chocolate so she brought me not just one but 5 boxes of Ghiradelli brownie mix witht he fudge that goes on top.  So I have to the conclusion that they will help me with my stress and feel more relaxed.  Now just for them to get out of the oven we shall see how it goes.

After the sadness that happened last week with our Porthos we had decided that it would be a very long time before we would get another puppy.  Well the neighborhood mama dog who lives behind our house who we feed whenever she comes up to the house decided that, that would not be the case.  Well the mama dog may have been Porthos’ mother or maybe sister we are not sure which but we know that they are related somehow.  We actually found him walking down the road with his two sisters so we found the sisters homes and kept him.   Well anyway we knew that the mama dog had puppies about month and a half ago to two months ago, we just didnt know where they were or if they were ok we couldn’t find them. 

Saturday we were doing some major house cleaning and I left to get some food for everyone and when I came back Jason was on the side of the house with “little mama” as I call her and a puppy.  I am sure the mama wanted to get food for her and the puppy and we just thought that she knew what had happened and just knew that we needed a puppy in our lives.  We felt like she had brought her to us to take care of.  So now we have another puppy who we have named Cortana, yep the boys and Jason named her after the Halo 3 character.  And as for Little Mama I have informed Jason that as soon as we finish a fence in our yard that she is going in it so that we can take care of her and make sure nothing happens to her, because she is really a sweet dog I just feel she is too old to house train and we have to work on Cortana as well for training.

To me Valentines day is one of those special days of the year that you show those you love that you love them in a truly special way.  With my husband I usually try to get him something that I know he has been really wanting and has had to wait a while to get because either the cash wasn’t on hand at the time or it just was not the right time to get it.  This year I think I will be getting him one of three things, either an iPod, a PSP or a Playstation 3.  At this point though I am leaning towards the iPod because it is something that he is going to be able to use a lot more than the other since he listens to is current mp3 player while he works and it is time for an upgrade on it.  I would also love to get a Playstation 3 on the other hand but that would be more of an all of us gift because I myself think that it would be really fun to have one.  And even though it is a Valentines it is always good to look at coupons to get the best deal that it is out there, for the gifts that I am getting I am either looking at either Best Buy deals or at Game Stop coupons if I decide on the PSP and some games for it.  Now I have to decide which one I am going to get for him because I can just get one of the others for him for his birthday which is coming in March right after Valentines.

Since the beginning of December I do not think that I have taken a single day off.  I have been trying to work hard at getting Christmas for the boys and getting bill caught up.  I have decided to actually not work at hom constantly anymore.  As long as my out of the home job is going well I will be able to and I will feel much better.  I do not honestly see how someone can actually live with doing something like this constantly, I have much respect for those people that do because it takes a very hardworking person to accomplish this.  I just know personally that I can work hard but I just can’t work this hard constantly.

I do not know for sure what the company that I work from home for uses to manage the remote use on their servers with our call taking.  But we  also do sometimes have issues and have to have technical support remotely.  Uplogix is a company that offers remote management solutions for companies to utilize IT resources at different locations.  It allows the network to be connected so that IT administrators can get things back and up and running from different locations and saves money on travel and staffing since things can be done for more than one location at a single location.  They even the strongest encryption and security to make sure that a companies information is well protected.

I know that on multiple occasions I have posted about our furry buddy Porthos, he was like a third child to Jason and I and a complete member of our family.  Well Tuesday all of sudden he became sick and became very ill within a few hours.  And by Wednesday night he just couldn’t make it anymore, and he passed away and I realized it when I was trying to make him more comfortable on his pillow and blanket.  We are still not sure what caused the sudden illness and even though we are all very hurt that he is no longer with us, we know that he is in a better place and not sick anymore. 

We miss him so much, but will remember all of the good times we had with him and the good memories.  Here is a recent picture of him in his “cape”

Recently I was in the dashboards for some of my websites and I was trying to have something installed and I accidentily wiped out one of my othere blogs completely.  I about to freaked needless to say I had never backed up any of the files for the database or anything like that.  So I deleted it and didn’t have anything at all and have had to start it all over.  Now to make sure I do not lose anything anymore I am going to have to back up and I am thinking I am going to have to do it atleast once a week or so just to make sure that this doesn’t happen again.  I will be saving everything to my PC as well as IBackup - Online Backup , that way in case if anything happens to my PC I will still have everything saved as well.  They have several different plans to choose as well as a free trial to try out their service.  They have several different featues including automated backups.

We recently got back into playing WoW,  we have decided that we are going to go at all the way until we max out at level 70 right now how main character is 50 and mine is 47.  We have been having a lot of fun with it, we have gotten him a sword that he had been really wanting, which is aweomse since we had to run the instance to get it about 10 times.  I also finally got my mount and even though I can’t officially name her on the game I call her Sparkles, yeah I am just a little silly.

The majority of my immediate family myself, my husband and one our sons are supposed to be wearing prescription eyeglasses.  I say supposed to because I have lost my glasses actually for quite a while now and have an eye doctor appointment to get a new pair, so that I can see better again.  And the reason why I don’t currently have a pair is sort of funny in a way now that I think about.  Because my husband and taken them off of me to give me a kiss standing by the car one day and sat them on top of the car and we both forgot about them, and well of course they flew off of the car somewhere never to be found again.  Since I was a kid I have either terminally broken or lost my glasses and now that I have son in glasses I am sure that this will be happening at some point in the future seeing as he is only 6 and had them 3 months, of which he has done an awesome job of taking care of them.   And here is a Great Discovery: www.ZenniOptical.com, they offer full prescription glasses starting at only $8, now if only this had been around for my parents when I was kid they would have saved a ton of money on my glasses.  They have a huge selection of frames that they manufacture themselves which makes such a great value.  My husband has needed a new pair of glasses since getting his contact prescription and it had changed so we are definitely browsing their selection to find him a new a pair, with their big selection of eyeglass frames.

I had a call in the last few days from a company.  Well the gentleman introduced himself and then proceeds to say “can you please hold?” This was all in the first 10 seconds of the call.  So I tell the guy no I can not hold and I hung up.  I am sorry but it is rude and tacky for anyone to call you and when you answer the phone to ask you to hold.  I can not believe someone would actually do that and expect not to get hung up on.  I told my mother in law about it and she just laughed and said that she does it all of the time.  And when I told my husband about it he just lauged and said “did you really” and followed with saying that he would too.  Getting telemarketing calls does not bother me in the least bit I  used to make a living making outbound telemarketing calls, so I know how it is.  But I would have never gotten anyone on the phone and said to hold please.  I may feel a little rude about doing it but I am sure that most people would have done the same thing that I did.
