Yes, my sons are mud children

My mother in law keeps the boys while I work during the week and they are always having some kind of fun. Last week I got this picture in my email and at first I shook my head at it then started laughing. Because playing in mud is just something young boys like to do. I am sure there will be more of these crazy pictures to come of their adventures this summer.

Now this is just awful

A nurse at a dialysis clinic here in my area just recently got caught putting bleach in syringes and administering them to patients.  She did this to two patients and luckily both of them survived, however this just seems like one of those things you hear about happening in a bigger city or just a whole other part of the country.  I have been reading about it in the newspaper for a few weeks now and luckily the now former nurse has been charged.  Whats scary though is according to the paper they found out about it because the state and feds closed the facility down for an investigation into a few deaths.   Hopefully they get all of this mess straightened out, I will definitely be keeping those who were treated there in thoughts that they are ok.

New tattoos

I got my first tattoo way back in 2000 like forever ago, well some friends and I decided that we would all go out as a group and get new ones.  So 4 of us and t.smith’s boyfriend all go get one.  And it was kind of amusing because all of us girls all got tattoos on our feet.  Jess got feet tracks on her foor, Sarah got this really pretty stars and swirls on our feet, and t.smith and I got our zodiac signs on ours.  Mine is aquarius so it is kind of like the to waves in black and pink.  As soon as I get my new camera in the mail (my old one broke) I will post a pic of it.  Now we just need to get started on hubbys tattoo, and maybe I will get one on my back.

My kid is just awesome!

I am the type of person who when they get into a book just can’t put it down.  I am notorious for losing track of time and not getting anything done if I am alone and into a book. Well I am proud to say that my love for reading has definitely rubbed off on my oldest son so far.  He is only 6 but when he gets a book he will read and read until he is done or we have to get him to stop for bed or whatever is going on.  I hope he keeps it up because reading is a favorite past time of mine and atleast one of my kids should love it, right?  My husband on the other hand is rooting for comic books to be his love, maybe it will be both.
