Web design help is what I need
Here recently I have made it my short term goal to start making my own themes and templates for my blogs. I have the basics of html and stuff like that down but I need all the help that I can get. What I am mostly needing is a straightforward and easy to follow tutorials. I was looking at web design for idiots main page website tutorials where they boast help for even idiots who seem to have no idea what they are doing. I think it would work for someone like me who knows a little bit but needs that extra help for stuff I haven’t done before.
One of the tutorials I was viewing was an easy way to change a website image. While I already know how to do this they actually have it spelled out simpler that what I was already doing. It is basically instructing to copy over the existing images with your own. Which would be very easy to do and self explanitory. Another tutorial includes information on adding background images to columns, something I myself have considered d0ing on my blogs even though this is mostly in an oscommerce system they are speaking of. Most of the guides have to do with teach yourself oscommerce for newbies oscommerce file structure but I think it could be useful to even bloggers, lots of good info to check out o the site.

Hawthorne Heights – Ohio Is For Lovers
I have been listening to this band for a few years now but recently I have been listening to this particular song over and over again. It is from Hawthorne Heights first cd “The Silence in Black and White”. So my suggestion is to check it out.

Looking for a hosting alternative
Getting the best deal possible on website hosting is important to any b logger or website owner out there. Web Hosting Geeks has a service that compares all different kinds of hosting providers. I even found information about my own hosting provider in their reviews, even had some information on them that I wasn’t aware of when I got my plan. Such as that they have an unlimited plan that I had no idea about. Pretty cool information, and you can compare all of the hosts different services to make sure it works for you, especially if your a blogger like myself you want to make sure that they have blog support, for myself I prefer knowing if WordPress would work on it. Check them out to compare all of the services out there.

Awesome cashier at Best Buy
I went shopping at Best Buy this evening and bought a couple of cds and put a pre-order in for two video games. I pre-ordered Halo Wars and Resident Evil 5 one of which is a M rated game. I really can’t wait for the Resident Evil game it looks really cool so far. Well anyway one of the cds wasn’t for me and I believe it was one marked for explicit lyrics. But what was really cool was that the cashier carded me, and here I thought that turning 29 automatically made me look old! I just thought it was awesome and I didn’t feel so blah about almost being 30 anymore.

This girls first love was her shoes!
Back about 13 years ago when I got my first job about the only things I spent my checks on were shoes, books, and quite honestly hair dye (had a bit of a fetish for dying my hair different colors). I would go just about everywhere looking at shoes, I would buy clothes to match shoes. I would wear anything from high heels to tennis shoes. My taste did however lean towards the heels but now days with kids its hard to keep up with kids in them. I think it honestly drove my family crazy that I would collect so many, when I moved out of my parents house I had several boxes full and even sacks full of shoes.
I was looking at marc by marc jacobs shoes earlier and was admiring the different styles and great prices at http://www.jildorshoes.com/ on these shoes. I was particularly admiring the pink leather pair. I really like the fact that they had a heel and were slip on. They also have really cute metal accents such as a buckle on the strap on the front. There is also an awesome looking black patent pair that have an even taller heel and are all shiny but have an awesome looking Grosgrain bow tie detailing above the toes. Those shoes would be awesome for a night out on the town, now if only I could get a night out like that I have the perfect shoes picked out.

Something a little different for me
Recently I decided that I was tired of plain brown hair with blond highlights and I was going to try something totally different. My thought was that I was going to dye my hair black underneath and bright like fire engine red on the bottom underneath. My thought is that it would like really cool because my hair is layered and the red would be at the bottom and kind of peaking through. Well I did it by dividing my hair in two sections the part I wanted black and the part that I wanted red. Well I put the red on first and wrapped that hair so that the black wouldn’t touch it. Then I had the black put on. I was kind of disappointed in the results the black turned out perfectly exactly like I wanted while the red is extremely dark and just kind of blends in with the black. I am going to do some research on how I can achieve the color I want. If anyone does any dying with bright colors ike the red I am speaking of, do you have any tips for me or how do you achieve the bright look?

Looking for something new to cook
My husband and kids get bored easily if I cook the same thing over and over again, Jason calls it getting burned out. And its kind of hard to find things that we will all eat and its actually not their fault it is mine, I am notoriously a pick eater. Some of my favorite recipes are crock pot recipes because before I start work I can normally just throw everything in and go about work and stir the food if it needs when I go on break and stuff. Tomorrow I plan on using it to make meatballs for spaghetti and meatballs. RecipeMatcher is a pretty neat site for recipes because you can put in ingredients in the their finding tool that you just have laying around and look for a recipe for them without having to go to the store. Perfectly handy for someone like me who is picky and loves to find recipes online and make new things.

Ummm sorry my feet go there.
It is like this most everyday that every time I try to put my feet under my desk I have trouble because of someone sleeping down there. So I either have to sit funny in my chair or prop my feet up on the shelf above my tower. Some days I have to get creative with how I sit. So today I decided to take a picture of her and I think she is sort of giving me a look as if I am disturbing her at MY desk.
So here is my puppy Cortana resting under my desk:

Pretty good weekend
This weekend was kind of busy for us first Friday I had to finish birthday shopping for my youngest son, and then of course Saturday we had his birthday party as long as Valentines day stuff.
First off was the party which my boys absolutely adored all of the goodies he got, I think his favorite was his Naruto ninja headband, his new Hotwheels rug for his room and of course more cars, all verified to make sure they were Hotwheels brand. I have no idea where he gets that from. Anyway after the party we sat around and he and his brother played with all of his stuff.
Then later on the grandparents came and picked up the youngsters and kept them overnight. And no we did not have some romantic date or hoopla like that. We went and watched the new Friday the 13th at the theater, it was ok but the only drawback was that it was crowded and kind of noisy, haven’t been to a theater that full in a while.
My boys got my lots of candy of course, but I am only just staring at it. I just can’t bring myself to eat it, I have been working really hard on working out with my Wii Fit but I don’t want to see it all go to waste with a bunch of candy. I am thinking that I could possibly eat it with them and just eat a small amount while giving them most of it. I think that will work, and I will come out as looking like an awesome mommy!
Well as far as Jason goes, we should just be honest there we got each other gifts but nothing romantic like flowers or anything like that. I got him the 1st Season of FullMetal Alchemist on DVD, it is a really good anime I suggest anyone who likes anime to check it out. He got me, well I ordered the Twilight Saga box set of books in hardcover, I am uber excited about it and can’t wait for them to come. He also got me a couple of the Diner Dash games on PC, oddly those games are very simple yet addicting. I am glad we kept it simple because it doesn’t make it seem like anymore than it is. We have came to an agreement about the whole marriage thing and are both working on a mutual end for it, which is working for us. Neither of us feel like it is working so why fight and delay the inevitable. We have decided to work together and make sure both us and the kids are set when we do separate, which is better than one of us being screwed over and angry. I think we make better friends anyway.
And after that we spend Sunday lazying around. I finally started Devil May Cry 4 on the 360 but I am stuck on a mission and am ordering the book on eBay, got a really good deal on it too, love eBay.
