Even though it is still kind of cold here and its the end of March and it shouldn’t be. But nevertheless I love sales like this at Sears because they are always great prices. Along with a very trying week of all the personal drama and anguish going on its just been a busy time. I had work all week, which has been awesome to keep my mind off of everything, but even though I work at home and I enjoy it, it is still work. I get tired just like every other job, just more mentally than physically. Well thankfully today was a pretty slow day call wise and overall a lot of good calls, everyone was really nice. But nevertheless I am welcoming the weekend. Tonight the boys and I are hanging around playing Wii games, watching some Naruto on dvd, and they are eating a bunch of snacks. Hopefully not all tonight.

Tomorrow we are going to go to a tamale festival with either their dad or their grandparents if he doesn’t come over. It should be fun and hopefully I can eat a bunch of tamales and take a bunch of pictures.

This is my first template to design! I know its alot of pink and I do have quite an obsession with girly skulls with bows these days. So tell me what you think? Its my first try of what I hope to be many to come. I know some more tweaking needs to be done but I was ready for a change on here and will be working on it all.

12 year old Lena has been singing for years even performed the National Anthem in front of a large crowd at the age of 7.  That I can say is alot braver than I would do, but I can’t sing either.  I went to Lena’s myspace page and looked it over and my interest was peaked when it said she sounds like one of my favorite bands Paramore and another I like Flyleaf.  So being the music junkie I am I gave her first original song “Framed” a listen.  The song itself was written by Lena and Kosta Lois a longtime Hollywood music composer and producer.  I really enjoyed the song and it did remind me of some of Paramores song.

She is definetely someone that I will be looking out for because the type of music and style for the song “Framed” is right up my alley with other stuff that I listen to.  Check out her myspace and have a listen too, I bet she has an awesome future and will do great things.  I also read that she had done alot of cover songs before she started writing her own music, I think it would be cool is she added some of those for people to hear.  I added her to my own myspace list and can’t wait to see anything else that she adds.

I was putting up a new shower curtian this evening in my bathroom and my 6 year old was sitting with me admiring the packaging.  He starts naming all of the stuff I have to go out and buy now because it is on the package with the curtain.  He names off everything from the sink in the picture to the lights, of course in between the towels and the matching waste basket.  I look at him like “oh yeah?’ and then proceed to say are you going to get a job to pay for the overhaul of the bathroom to make it exactly like that.  He then proceeds to laugh and say “When I am old enough to get a job your going to be an old man.”  At this point I say “So now I am an old man,”  he just laughs.  What can I say he is a silly 6 year old and I don’t know what I would do without him, especially without the comedy relief he provides. Also I am very indignant about the fact that I am female and not old.

At Sea World in Orlando there is a new thing going on with the dolphins there they are making what is being called Dolphin Bubbles. I just watched the video on it and it looks really cool.  What it looks like is that the dolphins are blowing rings of air out of their blow holes and they are playing with them.  They are pushing them around, spinning them, and even one or two of the dolphins almost looked like they are going through them.  There are alot of neat things with animals out there but this is one that takes the cake.

They say that in past this behavior had not been noted amongst the dolpins at the Sea World in Orlando, but recently it is as if a couple of the dolphins had figured it out and were teaching and showing the others, the tricks of blowing the bubbles and playing with them.  I truly was amazed at watching the video at the behavior of the dolphins and it reinforces to me the fact that Sea World is one of the must see places to visit on my list of places to go and see.  Check out the video and enjoy the antics of the dolphins and their bubbles.

Ah spring break, such a wonderful thing, no we aren’t getting an amazing vacation this year, someday perhaps.  I think it is perfectly wonderful because there is no school and we get to sleep in which is absolutely awesome and always right up my alley.  The kids always have fun with it because when there is no school we tend to be really liberal and laid back with bedtimes and wake-up times unless there is something we have to do.  So our days normally go as follows wake up at 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. eat something, usually sausage rolls or waffles (the boys love them).  After that grandma swings by I log into work, after thats over they come home and then we stay up till we pass out.  Yep, I am sure its not good for them, but I did it when I was kid and we have fun and they are kids once right?

Also the last week my very pregnant dog is starting to look like she may burst.  The poor thing just mostly lays around and heaven forbid someone lay in her “chair” she will sit on you.  I think they should be coming in the next week or two but here she is in her chair beware the evil looking eyes in the pic.

..what I need.  It has been forever since I have been on any kind of vacation so a vacation from the montony of everyday life would be right up my alley.  Right now Kissimmee is giving away 3 weekend giveways of 3 days and 2 nights stay for two as well as 2 weekong vacations for 4.  Which they will be giving away on or around April 15, 2009 and May 21, 2009.  I will definitely be entering because I could use a vacation.  Their are alot of different things to do in Kissimme they have a historic downtown area with  different shops and boutiques, which I think would be a great free way to spend time because there is all kinds of interesting history to learn in different parts of the country.  Also the fact that their are waterfront parts is very appealing to me because well I think the water is awesome and I have two little boys so they are quite fond of any kind of body of water.

Also in Kissimme there is access to some really great theme parks.  I have of course always wanted to go to Walt Disney World or even Sea World Orlando those are two places in my list of top places to go some day.  And if I can wind a trip to Kissimme I just might get to go and experience all of those things.

I have had alot going on around me in my life and have been too distracted to properly blog lately.   My husband and I who have been in a relationship on and off for nearly 9 years.  We have decided that we are better off being friends and are trying to work together for the boys.  We both feel like this is the time for it and even though I am sad about it, I am just overwhelmed with having the boys with me alone full time which honestly with his work schedule isn’t that much different than it is now.  Wish me luck on my new adventure!

On to more positive things, hopefully by the end of this week slash early next week I shall be unveiling my new blog theme.  I am super excited about it and am doing all of the design to the header myself.  It is something I have been wanting to get into for quite awhile and found the perfect tools for me to work with and am very excited by it all!  Look at for it!

I had spied this coat a few weeks back and couldn’t make up my mind on whether I wanted it or not. It was bright red and not a normal color for me to wear that often. I had made up my mind that I would keep an eye on it and wait until it went on sale, that way I could justify the purchase to myself. Well Saturday we were shopping and passed by Old Navy where the coat was and I decided to go check it out. I went in and the coat was on sale for 50% off. So I decided that was totally worth it and snatched it up. Here is a pic of my new bright red coat.
