Illness, Immunizations, and Pre-k

I am home from work today because I cannot speak, my voice is really crazy sounding. And since I do credit card applications over the phone there is no way I can work if I can’t speak. So here I sit looking for something to talk about or to do online. However this morning I did venture out to take my 4 year old son out to get his shots today so that he could go to Pre-Kindergarten next year. The poor guy did not take it very good at all he is my stubborn strong willed kid. He was so upset however his grandma did take him to buy one of those huge balls and a new hotwheels car. Yes I say hotwheels because at 4 years old he is really particualar about the brand of his cars he plays with. So all is good with him. Now when I do go to sign him up for school and take him to school. Am I going to be ok? I don’t think so! When his older brother started Kindergarten this year I was balling when I left the classroom. So with this being my youngest and last to start I may be worse than last time. Ah well enough of the rambles.

Enjoy,
~Sharon

Yeah, working from home is good, but I’m not sure I could do it full time. I’m a translator, which is a lot of head work and I like to mix it up with a bit of teaching to get me out of the house. Otherwise I start to get cabin fever. That’s not because I live alone, I also have a son but I also need other human contact.

I like your blog by the way, and I’ll be checking back in. See ya.
