One of my biggest aggravations is the fact that I am insomnia nearly every night. I don’t like having insomnia and I am sure it is cause by the massive amounts of caffeine that I drink throughout the day and probably that my mind is usually running about 1000 miles an hour. And what I mean be that most of my thinking seems to occur when I am trying to go to sleep. I try to think of different ways to prevent myself from staying up half the night or tossing in turning in bed but it is hard.
Some ways I try to prevent my insomnia:
- I try to cut back my caffeine intake. But honestly this does not always work because I spend most of the day yawning.
- I wake up earlier than I usually do in hopes that it will help me go to bed at night.
- I work out hoping that it will have me tired enough to sleep at night.
These things do not always work for me but some of the time they do the trick. I am one of those people who need to clear my thoughts before I can sleep and that does not always happen.
The child fell asleep with no problem at all still wearing his school clothes. I do realize that he was probably exhausted but oh how I wish I could fall asleep all the time that easy.
