Kind of an awkward neighborly conversation!

So today while I am working the doorbell rings so obviously it is no one we know because they people that normally come by don’t ring the bell.  Well Jason runs to answer the door real quick and its a neighbor from a house down from us.  She asks him if she can use the phone and phone book because she doesn’t have one and her sewage is going crazy down there or something like that.  Well anyway all that is said and done and they start talking and she introduces herself and all that and Jason is all like “Yeah if you need anything just come by (that normal crap), but please next time just knock, don’t ring the bell, Sharon works from home.”  So of course she is like “Cool, what does she do?” and Jason tells her “She does tech support for this internet provider”  and she says “Well I work at home too, I am a phone sex operator.”  He said that from there the conversation just went way awkward and he wasn’t sure what to say.

So when he told me after she left I just started laughing, I mean it is cool and all if you do that.  But do you just tell your neighbors that you just met?  I told some of the ladies I work with in our YM conference and we are heavily weighing the pros and cons of this and wondering if we could make more doing that.

Oh well I thought it was funny
