I may have mentioned it a time or two before, my youngest son is a complete and undeniable dinosaur addict. When we go to the library he insists on checking out only books that are about dinosaurs he watches dinosaur cartoons just about everyday. So it was no surprise that he loved playing with Mechatar that we recently got to check out.
He was very excited to get his hands on it:
As a parent who has bought many remote controlled toys one thing that I loved right off the bat was that the Mechatar said out loud that it was searching for the remote and stated that it was connected to the remote. This to me was awesome because there were not any switches to mess with and guess whether or not the remote had connected to the device.
The Mechatar Wrexx was very easy to control and Hal loved the fact that he could plug it right into the computer to battle other kids and their Mechatars.
The Mechatars are launching this fall and has a brand new play experience that kids these days expect out of their toys. Kids can accept missions in the real world and then continue to battle online and even earn points to upgrade weapons on their Mechatar. Mechatars will be launching all across the nation this fall and will be available at Target, Radio Shack, Amazon, Toys R’Us and iloveRobots.com (MSRP: $39.99) Also be sure to use coupon code MECHMOM for 10% off at iloverobots.com until 11/30.
