It has been a long and surreal week so far.

One of the highlights is I will be going back to college in the very near future to finish my teaching degree.

That is so exciting to me and I can’t wait to get started.

But to make this happen I no longer have a job and it will be ok. It gives me more time to build my blog and to attend school. So it will all work out and be for the best.

And I commend any stay at home moms who are with their children 24/7! You guys amaze me I have been with my kids continuously for a few days and despite how much I love them I cannot wait for school to start for them.

They absolutely will not quit bickering and fighting. I am about to pull my hair out, I have no idea what I am doing to do with them. Maybe it is the whole being together 24 hours a day thing that is making them fight so much, hopefully that is it and it will stop once school starts back.

And I also need an energy drink desperately, if you have an Amp send one my way. I would be forever thankful.

I was recently invited to my first blog event ever.  So I would like to thank the great people at MyBlogSpark and Wanchai Ferry profusely for inviting me. I really enjoyed it and had a great time.

It all started with an invite for dinner at a restaurant in Houston called Shanghai River, which is really nice and everyone there was really great and nice. And I would like thank them for their hospitality as well!

When we got there we had specialized menus out for us on the table with different items that we could order. I ordered the Wonton Soup, and Skewer Beef for my appetizer. I honestly didn’t eat my soup I am not a fan of it so my guest actually ate mine and he said that i was really wonderful. The Skewer Beef though I loved!

We also had a special drink called a Dragonfly, that was an awesome drink!  It had two different kinds of rum in it and one of those was apple rum and I had never had that kind before but it was good would definitely drink that again.

For my main course I ordered Beef and Broccoli, I really liked, it was very tasty!

Now for desert we had Sesame Fried Bananas, they were good but kind of odd. I love bananas but having them fried was just kind of strange to me.

But anyway we had all of that yummy food and they start passing out fortune cookies, because fortunes cookies are a necessity!

But we get around to opening up our fortune cookies and this is what the fortune said:

And I think everyone was stunned, nobody would have guessed that the entrees we had were frozen dinners. I had no clue and the meals were that good!

It was a fantastic time with great food and people.

And isn’t it the coolest thing ever that they had special made fortune cookies with that message in them?

I think I ready somewhere that this is now like the hottest recorded summer ever. I said I think, I read a lot of stuff so I don’t remember for sure. But it sure as hell feels like it is.

So hot that my ever determined to play outside 7 year old asked to leave the park this weekend.  I was shocked but did I question him?

No!

 Not a chance that I would.

I beat him to the car.

I have had a lot of fun lately. I went with my sister and best bud out this weekend to another best bud’s house. There Rock Band and me singing, it was freaking awesomesauce. 

For me anyway, I hope for the others as well. My singing may have damaged some ears. I hope not at least.

I have a daily post idea that I am thinking could be cool,  I hope to possibly be starting it tonight. 

Also have tentatively scheduled myself to start an EA Sports 30 day or 6 week challenge and actually finish it. That I will post everyday.

I just have to, I have to lose this weight!

I am out of randomness for now so have a very random Tuesday!
