Random Tuesday Thoughts – So, so bored.
Wow, I have never ever been a June Cleaver or any other of those perfect housewifey (so not a word) people. But it seems like the last couple of days I have been scarily getting stuff done. All of the dishes are done all of the laundry is done. There are also no random toys in odd places. I was so bored I cleaned the toilets, not because I needed to but because I was that bored. I have got to channel this energy into something else, the others that live here might expect it to stay this week. I am kidding it is kind of nice to have it all done early and not have to worry about it all day. But as a highlight I do work today and then I will be channeling that into working and getting a new theme customized and made up for here. I am just ready for a change and simple is not really cutting it for me right now. So look for that in the next couple of days, I hope. It may turn into a mess with what I am going to try and attempt. But I hope everyone has an awesome Random Tuesday!

Cryo-Cell and Save the Children: Haiti Relief Fund
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Cryo-Cell International. All opinions are 100% mine. Storing cord blood at birth is very important and can be life saving for your child. It would be a perfect match for them for their lifetime if they ever needed it. In the even your child contracts a disease requiring chemotherapy or radiation cord blood could be used to repopulate their blood cells and boost their immune system. It became known that cord blood was so useful for treatments when scientists discovered it was so rich in stem cells.
And right now when you enroll now Cryo-cell will donate $25 from each enrollment to the “Save the Children: Haiti Relief Fund”. Which will go a long way to helping the lives of all those children devastated by the earthquakes in Haiti. I think it would be wise to learn more about what Cryo-Cell is doing and about all of the potential benefits of stem cell research and how it could help everyone in the future. It could potential be very important to store these cells because no harm would come from at least storing them sense they are typically discarded after birth and it would not hurt your child at when they are stored. I wish I had known about this at the time of my children’s birth. If your are not sure about it then researching it would not help!
~sharonHappy Birthday To My Baby (well sort of)
He may definitely not be a baby anymore and he is sure to let you know. But to me he will always be my little sweet baby. Today my Hal is turning 7 and it just leaves me in shock that my youngest is getting close to ten and double digits. It just shows how fast time can fly. So here he is this morning eating his breakfast showing how adorable he is.

My Top 10 Vacation Tips!
Going on vacation with kids is always a lot of work, its like occasionally not really a vacation. But its always best to relax and let go and find ways to have fun with your kids. When we go on a road trip we like to bring things to keep the boys happy so we have a great drive.
- Travel games. A fun way to get everyone involved in the car and to see what is going on.
- Coloring books, we always bring one that is close to a theme of what we are going to be doing.
- Electronic devices while sometimes not ideal it is sometimes a life saver for a little quiet time while driving if you kid is playing their Nintendo DS.
- Extra changes of cloths even if it is a day trip. I went to see my grandmother this weekend and it was 20 mins away and could have used extra clothes because my 6 year old thought mud would be fun.
- Cash, I usually don’t ever carry any but in case there is a place that doesn’t take cards it is a good idea to have them.
- Lots of water for the kids, I swear mine are always thirsty.
- Lots of non-messy snacks like crackers or cookies. Because anything else would just be insane to clean up in the car on the road.
- Wet Wipes for clean up, it always happens that you have a mess to clean up and it is best to be prepared.
- Plan stops that are fun for everyone!
- And don’t forget to take lots of pictures and video!

~sharonYikes! I Am 30 Today
Today is my 30th birthday and is probably the birthday I have least looked forward to my entire life. I always under the belief that 30 is “like” old something. But now that it is here despite my sisters text messages at 1 a.m. telling me that I am old. I don’t really feel any older. So far it has been a pretty good day, we had cake and presents practically for breakfast. They boys even got me this really cute Cinderella cake, and cupcakes for themselves. We decided not to get a whole big huge cake because Hal’s birthday is the 12th and it has always been hard to eat two cakes back to back. So we are saving a huge cake for him next week.
Here is my awesome cake it is so good.
And here I am this was taken yesterday afternoon, do I look 30?
~sharonDude, Big Lots Does Have A Bathroom
I had a very disturbing image this afternoon as I was waiting today. Jason and I were around putting in some job applications for him since he is currently unemployed. So he decides he might give Big Lots a try since we shop there and he likes retail work. So I am waiting in the car while he runs in and gets an app to fill out. Well I am just minding my own business playing around with my cell when this car pulls up in a couple of lanes over. Ok perfectly normal for a parking lot. I glance up in their direction and have a complete holy shit moment. The guy has whipped it out and is taking a leak or relieving himself right their next to their car. What is so screwed up about it.
He doesn’t even try to take cover!
Doesn’t even try to hide behind the door of his car!
It is broad daylight!
And so screwed up there is a woman with him who just stands there like it is perfectly normal. And did I mention he was a grown up! And he knew I could see him I think they both kept looking toward me. And yeah I probably should have called the police but that was hindsight and I just wanted to get the hell out of there. So relieved when they went in the store and Jason came out.
But I just don’t understand why he could not have waited until he got in the store. Big Lots does have a restroom, I know I have taken my kids there before.
~sharonGet Faster!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Charter. All opinions are 100% mine. I know that I am like most people and want everything now! I hate to wait for anything from food to my internet, which sometimes absolutely drives me crazy having to wait for. Right now Charter is wanting people to stop waiting and get going for their internet service. They say that with the advances of cable that dsl is becoming the new dial up, when I see the speed of cable services I believe it. So now we can save our time because all of our time is important and we should be able to get our shopping, bill paying, and web browsing done quickly.
So to kick this off and help customers out Charter is offering High-Speed Internet at only 19.99 per month. This is a great bargain for the convenience of faster speed and being able to save time get things done faster and to have more time to do other things. Because honestly I could never understand people who still have for example dial up and don’t mind waiting, I would probably pull my hair out having to wait for that these days. Also don’t forget to fan Charter’s Facebook page so that you can get updates on their high speed service!

Wordless Wednesday – Cortana and Peaches
Not so wordless now, they were both laying on the bed and the cat was slapping around my dog Cortana. And I had turned around in my desk chair and was playing with my cell phone when I caught this picture of them sniffing each others noses. I thought it was adorable so I decided to post the picture. And think well at least this time they weren’t fighting. They seem to go back and forth on getting along with each other and fighting.
