Hal and I made a trip to our local Walmart this week to pick up The Avengers Blu-Ray/DVD Combo pack and Walmart’s Marketside pizza for our family pizza and a movie night. When we arrived at Walmart they had a huge selection of pizza in special Marvel’s The Avengers packaging just for what we were shopping for. And even right off we found a trigger point on the display for The Avengers Augmented Reality App for my phone.
After choosing our pizza, which was an ordeal because we could not settle on one kind so I got my pepperoni and Hal and Wes go their supreme we made our way to the electronics department where we found a huge display of Marvel’s The Avengers and found the Exclusive Blu-Ray/DVD/Novel Combo Pack at Walmart.
At home the first thing we did was open the package and the kids jumped all over reading the graphic novel because just like any other young boys they are into super heroes (especially Iron Man and Thor) and comic books.
And then finally at dinner time I heated up the Walmart Marketside pizza which I have to admit was really good and fresh. So better than frozen pizza.
And as soon as the pizza was ready the kids and I settled down to watch the movie. I will have to admit that I had already watched it in theaters without the kids. So while I really liked it and was eager to watch again, the kids were even more excited, especially since it had so many super heroes in one movie.
I think this particular pizza and a movie night with The Avenger’s was a success. I know I had fun and it was like the kids and I had a break from our normal busy evenings.
