This weekend was kind of busy for us first Friday I had to finish birthday shopping for my youngest son, and then of course Saturday we had his birthday party as long as Valentines day stuff.
First off was the party which my boys absolutely adored all of the goodies he got, I think his favorite was his Naruto ninja headband, his new Hotwheels rug for his room and of course more cars, all verified to make sure they were Hotwheels brand. I have no idea where he gets that from. Anyway after the party we sat around and he and his brother played with all of his stuff.
Then later on the grandparents came and picked up the youngsters and kept them overnight. And no we did not have some romantic date or hoopla like that. We went and watched the new Friday the 13th at the theater, it was ok but the only drawback was that it was crowded and kind of noisy, haven’t been to a theater that full in a while.
My boys got my lots of candy of course, but I am only just staring at it. I just can’t bring myself to eat it, I have been working really hard on working out with my Wii Fit but I don’t want to see it all go to waste with a bunch of candy. I am thinking that I could possibly eat it with them and just eat a small amount while giving them most of it. I think that will work, and I will come out as looking like an awesome mommy!
Well as far as Jason goes, we should just be honest there we got each other gifts but nothing romantic like flowers or anything like that. I got him the 1st Season of FullMetal Alchemist on DVD, it is a really good anime I suggest anyone who likes anime to check it out. He got me, well I ordered the Twilight Saga box set of books in hardcover, I am uber excited about it and can’t wait for them to come. He also got me a couple of the Diner Dash games on PC, oddly those games are very simple yet addicting. I am glad we kept it simple because it doesn’t make it seem like anymore than it is. We have came to an agreement about the whole marriage thing and are both working on a mutual end for it, which is working for us. Neither of us feel like it is working so why fight and delay the inevitable. We have decided to work together and make sure both us and the kids are set when we do separate, which is better than one of us being screwed over and angry. I think we make better friends anyway.
And after that we spend Sunday lazying around. I finally started Devil May Cry 4 on the 360 but I am stuck on a mission and am ordering the book on eBay, got a really good deal on it too, love eBay.

hi, nice blog
Your Blog is More interesting.great work.
…if possible at ur free time visit mine..and give ur suggestion to improve..
i am very happy to add you in my blogroll as friends if u like..!!
Awwwwwww, i so hate the “resigned tone” regarding your marriage, but it’s a great thing that you’re both doing the right thing and making it as easy as possible not only for the kids but yourselves. The arguing and fighting that most go through helps no one at all.
Bigggggggg hugs to you….i’ve been there and understand all to well, i just hate to see anyone else go through it.
Thank you both!
Nessa: I don’t know if I am resigned so much as feeling like I am getting on with my life, you know to be able to do the things I would like to with it. I hope that makes sense.
