Teaching kids to say no to drinking and driving

As a parent and a person in general I think it is important to not drink under the influence and of course to teach my children the dangers of drinking and driving. Of course I also have to be teach them the dangers of using drugs as well. And to do this I try to be as open as possible. I am one of those parents that chooses not to hide from my children the terrible dangers of using drugs.

I tell my children honestly what different drugs do to the mind and body and the damage that it could cause even their friends and family members. I hope that my honesty helps them to understand and to keep them from considering drugs and to know that drugs could ruin their futures.
