UNO Roboto Party and Review

Some of the most fun times I had during school was during finals and we still had class but didn’t have anything to do. And it was so memorable because usually someone would pull out a deck of cards or better yet pull out a deck of UNO cards for us to play. Well recently we had a get together where the new UNO Roboto was the main feature. The kids had so much fun playing and well let’s just say that after awhile the grown ups took over and we played for hours. I think it kind of drove the kids crazy, we have actually had another get together since the first one and every time I get the request to bring the UNO Roboto for us to play.

For our party we had a selection of chips and cookies and the kids and their friends had so much fun. Most of then had never had played UNO before (bad parents, I know) but now they are in love and we all fight for a spot at the table to get into the game.

The UNO Roboto game puts a new twist on the classic UNO game. UNO Roboto starts with all of the players saying their names to Roboto and then adding any kind of “house rule” to make the game more fun. The kids thought it was funny to make each other dance. What UNO Roboto does is randomly select the sequence of the players so that when you play a draw 2 or wild draw 4 you never know is going to have to draw it. It will also randomly give out house rules and challenges and change the direction of the game. Don’t forget that players can even change the rules of the game.

Also Mattel has a special promotion with Toys ‘R’ Us for a free Shutterfly photo album with any games purchased between now and the end of the year.  More about the special promotion can be found out here!

Don’t forget to check out UNO on Facebook!

I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of UNO Roboto and received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.

  1. My family always played UNO when I was a kid, I didn’t know that they came up with a electronic version! It looks like a lot of fun!
