I am the biggest weirdo, I just know I am. But how come when there is some huge sad life event that the key to getting over them and past them is listening to sappy depressing 80s love songs. And not the country ones, because I could never be that desperate, I think I would be suicidal for that, sorry my country fan friends. But seriously singling along to some Heart, Phil Collins, Debbie Gibson (yeah I downloaded it), even Madonna had a few. Just helps you get over stuff. Just don’t come to my backyard you may catch me sitting on the swing with my ipod in my ears just singing along. For some reason they make me feel good. lol I am such a freak, but I just can’t help but wonder why no matter what it is why they make me feel better.

LMAO, 80′s sappy love songs are the best!!! Madonna’s “Crazy For You” and Berlin (i think) “Listen To Your Heart” being among my faves. If i’m in a bad mood i listen to 80′s hard rock songs. I don’t know why either, but i swear it helps me too.
I want to find good pop music. Help me please.
Thanks for posting, I’ll definitely be subscribing to your blog.
I know right, I didn’t think of Berlin. I was just a kid in the 80s but they have stuck with me.
As far as I’m concerned, 80s music far surpasses modern music in terms of quality. You’re not crazy.
